My guide to better writing

I’ve decided to start this page with a few ideas that I have on how to become a better writer.

I’ll start by telling you that I am no where near close to being a great writer.  I don’t even consider myself a good writer.  I do however, consider myself to be somewhat competent and I have every confidence in myself and my abilities as a writer.

Kitchner Blues Festival

I just found out that Johnny Winter, Jimmy Vaughan and John Mayall, three of my favorite blues artists, are going to be among the performers that will be appearing this year at the Kitchner Blues Festival from August 5^th to August 7^th.  I’d love to attend the show but unfortunately prior commitments are keeping that from happening.

How To Become a Literary Critic

If you’ve read the ‘About Me’ page then you’ll know that I am currently working as an unpublished writer and that I have four children with a fifth on the way.

I have been scouring the internet researching possible jobs that I could do that would keep me as close to writing as possible while I continue to hone my craft.

One possibility that has crossed my mind is to become a literary critic and I thought that I’d share some information that I have come across.

Success

Having made the decision to pursue my goal of becoming a successful writer I now have some decisions to make.  The first thing I need to do is decide what I mean by successful.
